At TruthFC (TFC), it is our mission to use the gift of sports to bring hope and love to the lives of people living around the world. Thousands of people live without access to sporting equipment, but still find ways to play the sports they love. Children knit together pieces of trash to create soccer balls, young adults use clay bricks as goals, and others use milk jugs for baseball gloves. When gear is provided to those that have none, they experience the hope to dream about their athletic abilities and the opportunity to realize that they are real athletes. Just one example of this was of a little boy in Peru. After receiving cleats he said, “I feel like a real soccer player now.”

When youth and adults receive sporting equipment, it gives them the opportunity to hope and dream about their futures. It allows them to feel love from the people who worked so hard to send the gear to them. It allows them the opportunity to feel empowered to do something great.

Furthermore, TruthFC strives to empower those that donate the gear being sent. We share a message that pushes people to challenge themselves to pursue the calling that God has given them. Whether you are 11 or 99, we know that if God calls you to something, He will make a way. TruthFC hopes to provide opportunities for the young and old and everyone in-between to participate in becoming world changers. 

At the end of the day, all of this can be summed up into the vision TruthFC hopes its impact will have. It is TruthFC’s vision, “That through the sharing of hope and love, opportunities will be provided for people of all ages to feel empowered to change the world, live a hopeful life, and ultimately find the truth found in Christ.”
